My career spans a number of countries along + 30 years of research, technical support and policy-making. I have been engaged in different projects in countries such as; Peru, Mexico, Chile, Ecuador, Poland, United Kingdom, Sudan, amongst others.

My expertise is focused on; Urban & Transport Planning, Disaster Risk Management, and Climate Change.

My experience has been built by working within Humanitarian Aid and Urban Development under critical circumstances such as; Re-Construction of affected settlements, in the aftermath of a disaster, Livelihood Restoration Programs, Involuntary Re-Settlement, and Poverty alleviation.

I have led multidisciplinary teams that engage a variety of stakeholders, including local communities, to build agreements and partnerships for project implementation.

I have performed as Director, Deputy Director and Project Coordinator, at United Nations (ONU-Habitat, UNDESA), NGOs (Médecins Sans Frontières. HOPE-Worldwide) Consultancy Enterprises (Environmental Resources Management, C&M), Central and Local Governments (SEDUVI, MINAM) and Academic Institutions (ITESM, UI, UPN)
