My career has led me to specialize increasingly in the management of complex multi-cultural development projects and their staffs at international and national levels, e.g., a thorough and detailed understanding of the substantive and administrative elements of budget and program operations, project designs, implementation, monitoring and evaluation processes and financial analysis. I have experience in: strategic forward-planning; development aid management; database development and operation; budget preparation and accruals/ going concern accounting; broad knowledge of internal controls and the application of modern leadership methods (through staff motivation and involvement in both decision-making and target-setting, clarity in communication, and easy personal inter-relations).
