Mr. Flan is a qualified Electro-technical Engineer and Project Specialist with strong expertise in managing and leading successful teams, working with various stakeholders. Experienced in developing conventional and renewable energy projects on behalf of owners, investors and lenders completing technical due diligence with a particular focus on key risks identification, grid capacity, environmental & social performance, stakeholders engagement, gender integration and access to finance. With over 25 years’ experience in Design and Supervision of power Projects, Mr. Flan has worked at every stage of project implementation from conception through development, construction of transmission and distribution, rural and peri-urban including off-grid electrification infrastructures in sub-Saharan Africa. Mr. Flan has direct experience in the development of energy projects specifications and procurement of contractors including the commercial understanding of typical conventional and renewable energy contract structures and ability to negotiate and optimize terms within project budgets
