For the last ten years I have been working in the banking sector in Rwanda mainly focusing on Operations, Business Development and Innovations. I started as a Branch Manager at Banque Populaire du Rwanda s.a from 2007 to 2009 and later on joined KCB Bank Rwanda Ltd where I served as the Regional Business Manager and was promoted to be the Head of Retail and SME until June 2013. I am a good trainer, an experience I acquired from being a lecturer at Kigali Independent University where I taught Management and Economic Theories and Policies from 2004 up to 2006.

Since March 2014, I joined Access to Finance Rwanda as Director of Programs, a company funded by the UK Department For International Development and the German Development Bank (KfW), the Swedish Cooperation, USAID and the MasterCard Foundation to support the Rwandan Financial Sector deepening and promote Financial Inclusion for the rural poor in Rwanda.

I hold a Master’s Degree in Economics from the University of Witwatersrand/South Africa. I therefore have excellent foundation in numerous Economic courses, excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as computer skills.

In addition to my experience and knowledge, I’m highly motivated person, results oriented, self-confident, proactive, quick to adapt to new ideas as well as a good team player and I easily adapt to working with people from different cultural backgrounds.
