• Having more than 30 years’ experience with Government Development Authorities and with consultants on roads, irrigation, water supply & housing development projects in rural & urban areas.
• Worked in Africa, South-East Asia, Middle East and South Asia including Eritrea, Malaysia, UAE & India respectively.
• Expertise in hydrological & hydraulic investigations, water resources planning, hydraulic/drainage & structural designs, design review, design co-ordination, benefit-cost analysis, technical evaluation & approvals, monitoring implementation including supervision & contract administration.
• Gained exposure to international & local best practices (AASHTO, USDOT, ORSTOM, TRRL, IRC, CWC, USBR, BS, IS) for conducting hydrological & water resources assessment, project design and design review, formulation of technical guidelines & specifications, identification of project scope of works/terms of reference for pre-feasibility, preliminary & detailed project design study reports & review, besides monitoring project implementation for hydrological, hydraulic & structural safety.
