About
I hold a Master’s degree in Project Management and a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, complemented by over 22 years of extensive experience in the planning, design, and management of construction, infrastructure, civil engineering, buildings, livelihood assets, capacity building, facility management and humanitarian response programs across diverse regions, including Pakistan, Syria, Kenya, Ethiopia, Sudan, and Haiti.
In my role as Project Manager and Head of Sub-office with the United Nations Office for Project Services, I successfully led the “Enhancing the Healthcare System and Emergency Capacity Support for Critical Facilities Projects” in Syria, demonstrating my ability to manage complex projects in challenging environments.
As Project Director with Allied Technical & Management Consultants, I oversaw the Reconstruction and Rehabilitation of High-Rise Buildings project in Pakistan, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
My experience as a Consultant (Regional Engineer) with the UN World Food Programme involved providing engineering and project management support for the “Food Assistance for Assets (FFA)” programs in the Regional Bureau Nairobi (RBN), Kenya, where I collaborated with country and sub-offices to enhance operational efficiency.
I served as Team Leader with Techno Consult International on the USAID-funded Municipal Services Program, focusing on water supply, sanitation infrastructure improvement, drainage/sewerage, and solid waste management (SWM) initiatives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan.
Additionally, I worked as Project Manager with the Infrastructure Development Authority of Punjab (IDAP) on a health reforms program aimed at rehabilitating and modernizing government hospitals in Punjab, Pakistan.
My diverse experience also includes roles as Construction Project Manager with IMC Worldwide-UK on a DFID education reforms project, Project Manager with Habitat for Humanity on World Bank and CIDA-funded construction and development programs in Haiti, and Project Manager with the United Nations Mission in Sudan (UNMIS) on infrastructure projects in both South and North Sudan.
Throughout my career, I have consistently focused on delivering engineering, technical, and project management support for large-scale construction, development, infrastructure, construction, rehabilitation and humanitarian programs across multiple countries.
