Skilled in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Microsoft excel, Microsoft power point, Microsoft project, water treatment and hydro Power Plants. Strong engineering professional.

Brian holds a double Master’s degree in project management and Engineering Management, a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Measurement and Verification Professional (CMVP), lead ISO 50015 auditor in measurement and verification systems, a member of Association Energy Professionals Eastern Africa (AEPEA) and Association of Energy Engineers, (AEE). Chebor Brian Kiprop have lead and co-lead Energy Access projects with the government and other development partners in developing and implementing  energy and Climate Change policies and programs in the energy sector and industry such as the rebate program with Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Industrialization and Trade, energy expert training curriculum with the Ministry of Energy, being part of the technical team in the development of the National Energy Efficiency Strategy with Ministry of Energy and key parastatals. As a team leader I worked with Kenya Association of manufacturers (KAM) in developing project funding proposals which were key in implementing policies and sensitizing the stakeholders via workshop, breakfast meeting with top leadership and management locally in Kenya and in East Africa region. I have also managed energy projects in Kenya and East Africa region worth more than 500,000$ in the past 5 years, sourcing funding and negotiating the energy performance contracting to actualize energy project adoption by the target facilities, working the national government of Kenya and Danish Government in implement projects and advocacy works in Kenya. I was working closely with ministry of Energy and industrialization and submitting all the project plans to the ministry for budgeting allocation.

His professional experience lies in the implementation of energy Access and Water audits and energy efficiency analysis, building management system implementation, the creation of Measurement and Verification (M&V) concepts, the planning and implementation of appropriate measurement technology, as well as the analysis and evaluation of the measurement results.

As part of the energy audits, he has also conducted over 150 energy and water audits, the investment calculations, financial analysis, the calculation of profitability and break-even calculation of energy efficiency measures including the financial indicators of the suggested optimization measures.
