SRHR Fund - Regional Grants & Finance Specialist:

Financial management for a $10 million Fund using OSIRIS ERP system

Prepare back-donor financial reports on time and in accordance with grant agreements

Performing Fund financial and budget management, including programmatic budgeting, monthly spending reviews, quarterly spending projections, and budget line monitoring

Treasury management including preparing the Fund’s quarterly cashflow projections, cash draw-downs from Head Office and management of the South Africa office float

Providing compliance and financial oversight for the Fund’s procurement, tender processes and sub-granting processes including bi-weekly grant tracking reports

Reviewing all financial transactions in accordance with relevant donor provisions

Ensure electronic and hard copies of supporting documentation are filed, complete and compliant with donor requirements

Contributing to fund-raising activities for the regional SRHR including Proposal development and implemented the Fund’s fiscal and administrative policies

Coordinate with programme officers to ensure cohesion between financial transactions and project activities, and supervising work of the Admin and Finance Officer

Developing the Fund’s system of sub-grant management, including the implementation of effective governance and internal audit systems for the Fund and its Partners spreada

Undertake due diligence, intake risk assessments and capacity-building for 28 Partners in east and southern Africa to ensure effective financial management at Partner level

Conducting regional Partner visits to verify financial expenditures as reported

Implementing training for programme staff and Partners in financial management through webinars and face-to-face interventions

Ensuring proper implementation of external audits of the Fund and all Grantees in accordance with agreed audit plan. Obtained a clean audit report

Set up the process for reviewing and following up audit recommendations at both Fund and Partner levels.
