Geetika brings to the table diverse experience in energy planning for developing countries across Asia and Africa. She specializes in evaluating business models for challenging markets, focusing on off-grid solutions such as mini-grids, solar PV systems and other clean energy technologies (CET) aligned to productive use (PUE) applications, multi-tier frameworks and centric to vulnerable communities. She has led the development of customized energy analysis tools (using Python, MS Excel and VBA) for technical assistance to microfinance institutions and private developers. These have included integrated, advanced and easily transferable products for services such as solar PV rooftop loan appraisal, solar pump irrigation system loan appraisal, mini-grid feasibility analysis, CO2 emission estimation for green mobility loans and solar Pay-as-you-go business modeling for start-ups, amongst others. A post-graduate and DAAD scholar, she specialized in Energy and Environmental Management for developing countries.
