Great familiarity with the GCF procedures and guidelines, mainly in what relates to working on readiness projects development (concept notes, funding proposals, etc.) and on accreditation support to National (Implementing) Entities. Authored a version of a Non-Objection Mechanism that could have evolved into a sounder national process of choosing viable projects.
Supporting the development of national policy and strategy formulation on the management of natural resources and climate change, with main focus on the integration of climate change into planning and cross-cutting issues with the other Rio conventions. The newly acquired mission of the Ministry in charge of the Environment to be responsible of « local authorities » is setting the foundation for a more generalized climate change mainstreaming into these plannings.
A small pionnering experience in climate change adaptation (CCA) mainstreaming at the local level through disaster risk management (floods at the level of several pilot regions as a starting phase) via two projects on floods management.
Experience in institutional capacity building in the areas of sustainable and integrated management of the environment, natural resources, biodiversity and ecosystems. varied experience aggregation enabled the contribution in the development of the National Strategy for the Green Economy.
Formulation of research on the integration of climate change into national policy.
