Engr. Cabato has over 25-years of professional engineering and management practice gained through involvement in various projects with both government and private sector companies. As a Professional Engineer, He managed design teams and worked in collaboration with project owners to ensure completion of projects on time and within budget. Vergel, in which he is fondly called by his colleagues and peers is also highly organized and has a keen eye for detail which ensures that outputs are of high standards. Currently he serves as the Deputy General Manager for Engineering of a Japanese Consulting Company. He is a registered Civil Engineer, ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer, PICE Structural Specialist, ASEP Regular Member, Member of the Institution of Specialist Structural Engineers of the Philippines (ISSEP) and is in the active roster of the ADB Consultant Management System.
