My primary research interest is to have a thorough understanding of the dynamics involved in malnutrition using epidemiology and molecular biology as my basic tools. Ultimately, I aim at providing practical, realistic, evidence-based and sustainable interventions to address the problem of malnutrition in Nigeria and on the African Continent. My most recent research is focused on evaluating the efficacy of biofortification in addressing the problem of vitamin A deficiency in children who are most vulnerable.
