Rahmat Herutomo (Heru) is a development professional with over 15 years of experience in development context in Indonesia and Southeast Asia region, ranging from poverty to environmental related issues. Main competencies and interests are related to project/program management, knowledge management and research based advocacy activities. Aside from years of experience in development sector, Heru also has an experience in media environment, involved as Columnist with GlobeAsia Magazine (2007-2009), in charge of Eye on the Economy, a column highlighting latest economic and social development issues in Indonesia and Southeast Asia. In 2007, Heru was awarded Anugerah Adi Warta Sampoerna, a prestigious journalistic award in Indonesia for his essay on the use of e-government system in order to support good governance implementation in Indonesia.
