  • Over 14 years of experience in primary health care with a focus on health programs coordination experience in program development and management including experience working in conflict-affected regions and within fragile health systems;  chief of Party, Technical Advisor  for USAID-funded projects in the Democratic Rep of the Congo (DRC), working across all levels of the health system. Established advocate for policy and national strategy advancement and health financing and human resources for health.

  • Skilled in facilitating capacity building for key partners and local government facilities, focusing on the day-to-day management of project activities, technical support, management of the health information systems, and training of management teams (up to 80 people); Expertise in the development of relevant training materials as well as design and implementation of capacity-building plans for the actors on project M&E, including the organization of training sessions in this field. 
  •  Successful experience in representing organizations at local, regional, and international levels with a strong ability to develop and maintain good working relations with organizations and institutions.
  • Experience in conducting operational research and qualitative, quantitative, or mixed studies with demonstrated skills in the development and dissemination of research protocols, abstracts, and scientific papers.
  • Hands-on experience in data management, including the design of data collection protocols, appropriate data collection tools, and development of various management and planning tools; Particular experience in the coordination of data management activities (collection, analysis, and quality audit) at the national level; 
  • Proficient in everyday usage of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, MS Project, PowerPoint, Access, and Publisher), as well as scientific and statistical software applications including SPSS, DHIS2, R, Kobo Collect, Epi Info 6.0, GESIS, and Stat
  •  Able to work under pressure and in ever-changing and complex environments, possessing excellent problem-solving skills.
