Possessing more than 13 years of successive experience, occupying leadership and management positions with five well-known international development and humanitarian organizations has enable me gained extensive insight in community/rural development and the humanitarian fields. In these positions, I have gained skills and experience in performing and not limited to the following: Providing leadership in the development and implementation of country strategic (programmatic) plans; Leading the development, implementation and monitoring of advocacy work intended to make the voices of the marginalized, disabled (both children and adults) to be heard – through policy influence and resources allocation; Mobilizing resources/funds from a variety of donors for community/rural development and humanitarian work; Providing leadership to national, expatriate and staff of local organizations to improve their performance in projects/programmes delivery (managed, mentored, inspired and led teams of up to 400 staff in different organizations); Promoting organizational cultures among staff and organizations’ missions to local /national authorities and international organizations; Leading country organizations budget planning and ensuring efficient budgets management.
