I have more than 20 years of professional experience in a career spanning multiple sectoral approaches to development working with both national, county and International governments. Since 1997, I have provided program-level management to civil society organizations (CSOs) in Kenya, at the same time traveling in East and Central African country governments undertaking various program assignments. I possesses in‑depth expertise in the areas of program design and management; organizational capacity development; human resources planning and management; financial management; and training in project cycle management, strategic planning, and organizational development. I understand the working environment of the Kenyan government both at the partnership and operational levels, and am experienced in working with key County and National stakeholders. I have been responsible and accountable for development and delivery of strategic and operational program strategy including budgeting, business planning, forecasting & program communication and expenditure reviews. I have also been responsible for development and preparation and submission of quarterly relevant management reports for submission to the CLIENT, USAID and the Health committee of the COG. Responsible for the program area portfolios and projects are regularly monitored through implementation of robust monitoring and evaluation mechanisms by all country programme teams at the same time using evidence to communicate results to the Country Management Teams (CMT) and stakeholders

My current role combines understanding of program design, health financing, accountability systems, scale up, knowledge sharing, capacity building to national and sub-national level governments and support of integrated health information systems at the county and national levels. I have provided significant governance and leadership for USAID funded mechanisms namely, Capacity Kenya, AfyaInfo, MEASURE Evaluation PIMA, HIGDA project, all of which i supported the capacity building and meaningful engagement between the National and County government particularly in health management information system (HMIS). I have been engaged in cross regional learning in Zambia, Namibia and Nigeria Countries in supporting the development of Master Health Facility Listing in three Countries thus, Nigeria, Zambia and Namibia. I supported the health information, M&E systems leadership and governance engagements both at the National and County level from the Kenya Council of Governors (COG) secretariat through use of Devolved HIS/M&E advocacy in use of data to inform decision making at the counties and national levels.
