Mrs. Portilla is a political scientist graduated from the Rafael Landivar University Guatemala with a Master’s degree in Project Management and Evaluation from the San Carlos University in Guatemala. She. She has over 10 years of experience working with INGOs, international cooperation agencies and public sector in the design, monitoring and management of development projects. Since January 2020, Mónica serves the Grant Acquisition Director at World Vision supporting Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and Bolivia, responsible for the positioning efforts and design of proposals for grants and non-sponsorship funding. She has supported design process, establishment of new partnerships and agreements with private and public sector key stakeholders.
