I started my career as a schoolteacher for several years, progressed to training teachers for De Beers in Botswana, and was then appointed Deputy Director of Woodhill College. After that I taught the Diploma and Degree of Management at the Australian College and the MBA at the Maastricht School of Management in Kuwait. I then worked as a Corporate Management Trainer for Saudi Arabian Chevron and the Kuwait Gulf Oil Company, and Director of Operations for Education Consortium, Kuwait.

I have most recently worked as Assistant Professor of Management at the Australian University of Kuwait, having worked with all their auspice partners, the University of Tasmania, Victoria University and Central Queensland University.
