Qualifications/extensive professional experience (15 years) in both development and crisis settings in human rights and humanitarian law (protection systems & coordination mechanisms), child protection, education, juvenile justice, migration, child rights advocacy, working with the UN, EU, States & CSOs.

Experience enhancing the protection of human rights and supporting UN human rights mechanisms; working on technical cooperation and programme management (advisory services delivery, team coordination, programme design, management and reporting, including complex/multi-partner projects, using rights- and results-based approaches), research and reports writing, policy development, advocacy, capacity building and training. Analytical & research skills, with strategic thinking.

Committed/pro-active person with strong organisational skills, who can build support for critical issues, deal with responsibilities and work effectively in multi-cultural environments.

Native French speaker. Fluent in English, Spanish and Italian. Intermediate Portuguese and Arabic, basic Dutch and German. Excellent writing, oral and representation skills.

Work experience in MENA, Latin American/Caribbean and EU countries.
