KEY PROFESSIONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

Design and use of strategic operational procedures to achieve maximum turn-around of trucks thereby transporting almost 300,000 tonnes of raw steel cargo annually, within Eastern Africa region, earning an annual revenue of approximately USD 10,000,000 (Ten million)

Setting a constant annual target of transporting 300,000 tonnes of raw steel raised the scope and opportunity for increasing the fleet size by 33%, after renewing existing contracts and signing new clients. This led to an investment of 60 brand new Scania P380 trucks + 60 brand new Bhachu trailers (2018)

Calculative study of various brands and models of prime movers’ and trailers’ Tare Weights (T.W) to rearrange loading plans thereby maximizing loading capacity by an additional 8% per truck. The procedure resulted in fuel efficiency; transporting an additional over 24,000 tonnes of raw steel annually

Warehouse layout plan and management of procurement procedures resulted in productivity of freight-forwarding operations by over 50% weekly

Strategically formulated route plans to reach vast distribution networks both local and export markets (Rwanda, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia) with volumes reaching approximately 1,000,000,000 (One Billion) litres annually, for all petroleum products combined (AGO, HFO, IK, JET A1, PMS) for reputable energy firms (Rubis Energy, Vivo Energy, OiLibya and Dalbit Petroleum), earning an annual revenue of approximately USD 12,000,000 (Twelve million)

Strategic trips to remote regions (East and Central Africa) to study weather/road conditions and hostile communities for mapping suitable Journey Management Plans (JMP) and filing records for the same, a practice necessary for the fulfillment of contract obligations, in particular HSSE, of reputable energy firms (Rubis, Vivo, OiLibya, Dalbit Petroleum and Tristar Group), helped renew existing contracts with more favourable rates.
