Mr. Tsepo Cheda is a seasoned, conflict management and development practitioner with extensive experience in peacebuilding, livelihood development and an expert in surveys and assessments. He has dedicated his career to conflict management, humanitarian assistance and supporting development programming in Zimbabwe and South Sudan. He is especially passionate about supporting communities and facilitating their ability to identify and prioritize projects, with more than 17 years of experience developing community participation, mobilization, and advocacy capacities among community members; leading facilitative design of projects in alignment with community-identified priorities; and leading trainings and community workshops on transformational leadership and development. In addition, Mr. Cheda has overseen and implemented human security programming, including needs assessments, and he has 15 years of field work, demonstrating a results-oriented management and staff mentorship leadership style. Mr. Cheda holds a Master of Science degree in Peace and Governance, a Bachelor of Science Honours Degree in Sociology from the University of Zimbabwe and is currently a PhD Conflict Management Candidate at the Durban University of Technology in South Africa. He has conducted research in Counter Terrorism and Peacebuilding and also published on Women and Terrorism. He speaks and writes English fluently.
