About

Jos van Renswoude (1948) studied medicine at the State University of Groningen and obtained his M.D. in 1973. While practising general medicine and pediatric oncology for several years, he more and more dedicated himself to fundamental biomedical research, and was in 1979 awarded a Ph.D. in Biomolecular Sciences – on the interactions between biological and artificial membranes - by the State University of Groningen.
