I’m an enterprise and organizational development specialist and investment banker by profession with a combination of hard and soft skills in enterprise and international development circles, on ground experience spanning over 18 years in sub-Sahara Africa (wide experience in East, Southern and West Africa). I have gained strong technical expertise in private sector development, investment innovation and advisory in corporate finance, shared value public private partnerships both in public, private sector and with multiple agencies including EU,USAID, DFID, USDA, World bank funded programs. My experience also brings mature cross cultural skills in advanced workshop facilitation skills, leadership, corporation and personal effectiveness to achieve development objectives in matrix driven global environment, having worked in over nine countries across Africa. As a market reform expert and enterprise development specialist, I have been able to lead multiple regional and national value chains across sectors through market based approaches to private sector developments. As a certified global Master Trainer and Advanced Participatory Workshop facilitator, I have been instrumental in strengthening the capacity of local, national and regional bodies, leading structural policy dialogues geared towards reforms that promote enabling business environment, investment climate, trade and economic stability. I am a certified, licensed and practicing full member (P/FA/00215) of the Institute of Certified Investment and Financial Analyst (ICIFA) http://www.icifa.co.ke/about/read/id/1 with affiliation to Association of Certified International Investment Analyst (ACIIA) based in Switzerland and Association of Professional Societies in East Africa (APSEA). I hold Masters of Business Administration (MBA) with concentration in Finance & strategy and Bachelor of Agribusiness Management (both from Egerton University, Kenya). I speak and write English and Kiswahili fluently with basic knowledge of Arabic, French, Portuguese, and Amharic.
