My 19 years’ international experience in architecture, project and general management would allow me to achieve successful results in the related projects. My extensive experience and skills in infrastructure, as well as my experience as international infrastructure expert in the field of Senegal and Gambia with Enabel, from 08/2020, and at Brussels HQ for almost 10 months, have encouraged me to look for new horizons and new experiences within UCB.

Throughout my entire career I have demonstrated consistent success applying aptitudes as a leader to achieve high-reaching standards in large and mid-infrastructure projects from their design to their execution.

All along these projects, I continually developed, coordinated and implemented a number of public contracts in the fields of construction and technical equipment (water supply, electrification, etc.). I have also liaised successfully with and advised diverse stakeholders, build trustful relationships and applied a Customer Service approach. I actively ensured financial, information and staff management responsibilities. Through these achievements I have proven a strong time-sensitive management, autonomy and initiative skills.

Moreover, I have a keen knowledge and experience in the field of change management. E.g., I had co-managed the development of the STILL company from 9 to 35 staff. In this context I had directly and indirectly supervised and trained 20 staff and monitored their in-job-trainings and I replaced functional management by a projectized one. More recently, I have been involved in the theory of change implementation under the collaborative governance of the Agropole project with Enabel.

Furthermore, I have directed important mixed-use, residential, industrial infrastructures for international clients such as Renault, CBRE and Ikea. I have taken into account passive or net zero construction models and sustainable approach. Indeed, by integrating the principles of bioclimatic and high energy efficiency from the sketch. I also demonstrated a strong presentation skill to customers or Authorities through the use of creative and publishing software.

My work in international contexts including Europe and Africa, and for large clients’ companies or international organizations such as the World Bank, ADF and EIB strengthened my coordination, versatility, communication and multicultural awareness skills in three different languages (French, English and Spanish). Additionally, I have proven a team spirit and leadership as a peer, supervisee or supervisor, through feedback, encouragement and strong collaboration.

Finally, I am confident that I will be able to take on this managerial role, as over the last three years I have spent in Senegal, I had to provide support and take charge of ongoing projects, to compensate the absence of their manager or infrastructure expert. My ability to adapt and integrate quickly enabled me to minimise the delays and financial challenges I encountered.
