Political Advisor/Deputy Team Leader, Strengthening Revenue Policy and Administration in Somaliland programme: Public Financial Management Project; Oxford Policy Management, January- Present 2022.

Responsible for providing the Team Leader and Delivery Team Leads with politically informed strategic advise on how to achieve the programme’s objectives and mitigate risks to the programme, and to play a key facilitating role between the project team and relevant government and non-government stakeholders in Somaliland; Develop and maintain a pro-active, responsive and productive relationship with all relevant revenue sector stakeholders, in particular government ministries and agencies, accountability actors, civil society organisations and DFID; Propose appropriate strategies and approaches for achieving the objectives of the programme, by drawing upon and coordinating appropriate high quality technical expertise in close consultation with the Project Manager and Team Leader; Identify and propose solutions for the resolution of any risks, conflicts or inconsistencies in approach to delivering the outputs at the earliest possible moment.
