Relief, Re-integration and Protection Officer (RRPO)

Coordinated achievement of DPKO Mission mandate in ensuring relief, re-integration and protection of civilians at State and County level in the volatile Upper Nile State

Facilitated community reconciliation to stem inter-communal tensions, and re- integration as a foundation for voluntary returns and resettlement of displaced persons in places of origin

Initiated peace-building and reconciliation initiatives among communities to enhance harmonious co-existence both within the camps, and outside in resettlement areas.

Supported UN Agencies and NGOs in delivering emergency humanitarian services

Coordinated the protection of civilians in the Protection of Civilian (POC) sites

Supported the formulation, initiation and monitored implementation of Quick Impact Projects (QIPs) in IDP sites focusing mainly on livelihoods for vulnerable groups and community peace-building and reconciliation.
