QUALIFICATIONS SUMMARY

● years’ experience translating to and from Arabic
● years’ experience transcribing foreign audio into English
● Fluent in Arabic, Iraqi and Modern Standard dialect
● Ability to work as a team
● Ability to give/receive constructive feedback on translation reviews
● Ability to type no less than 45wpm in English and in the target language
● Proficient in utilizing standard MS Office computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development.
● Native fluency in Arabic and full professional fluency in English (Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing)
● knowledge of Iraqi MoD, MOI organizational structure and operations
● Previous strategic experience with U.S. Forces ‘as a civilian contractor.
● Significant knowledge, education, and experience in civil-military relations in a democratic government
● able to translate written documents from English to Arabic and Arabic to English. This may be done in a memo or slide presentation for senior US military administration
