I have over 17 years working and consulting experience in the private, public sector and Non-Governmental sectors. He is a lead consultant in Human Resource advisory, strategic planning and capacity building. He is well versed in corporate governance, strategic planning, leadership capacity development, organization design and development, organization capability assessment, job evaluations, HR surveys and performance management systems. I also have experience in team building facilitation and trains on team strengthening techniques with extensive experience in process consultancy and i have been involved in turning around organizations through practical process re-engineering programs.

I am the founding chair of Management Consultants Association of Kenya which was registered in 2018.

Over the years, i have supported a number of private sector organizations in the banking sectors, MFIs, NGO’s and Sacco’s to develop and implement strategic plans, set up of HR functions, learning & development departments and Corporate Strategy and Planning departments.

I was part of a team in charge of a bank’s strategy and planning. The mandate of the department was to devise the strategies for market growth and penetration, expansion, acquisitions and consolidations where necessary. Major achievements was involvement in designing a long term strategy which saw 3 acquisitions in Mauritius, Tanzania and Rwanda. During this tenure, Erick was core to two bond issues and one private placement which were all oversubscribed. He also played a lead role in the role out of the I&M employee share ownership program. I was the Corporate Strategy and Planning officer with the mandate to carry out research, develop forecasts and budgets in liaison with the Finance department, carry out due diligence and in charge of contracting. Additionally, i was involved in post-acquisition management that included re-branding and performance monitoring that also included day to day operations support.

I am experienced in Human Resource advisory, development of strategic plans and capacity building for the private and public sectors and i am able to deploy modern HR practises, impactful capacity building methodologies and result based approach in translating and cascading strategies throughout the organization. My other expertise include the areas of HR Audits, policy development and reviews, talent sourcing and competency development, talent assessments, reward system development and management and employee outplacement services. I also have extensive experience in job evaluations, experiential training, conducting HR and business surveys, corporate governance, and change management programs facilitation and implementation.
