I’m a passionate student who aspires to study early modern literature from England, Spain, Italy, and the ‘New World’, all in its original language. I am particularly interested in the evolving constructions of gender and childhood present in literary and filmic work; I’d also like to study the outcome of indigenous influence on colonial literature. Outside of my research interests, I hope to develop programs that help Hispanic individuals with their transition into college.
