About

I am a researcher and skilled project manager with a deep academic and professional interest in international politics and MENA studies. I recently completed a Master's Degree in International Relations and Institutions of Asia and Africa with a grade of 110/110 cum laude, focusing in particular on the study of the MENA region and the Arabic language. In 2022, after my graduation, I spent a few months traveling around Europe and working in different cultural contexts, dedicating time to my personal development. I currently work at Re-Alliance as a researcher, part of a team working on a short-term contract with Cafod. Furthermore, thanks to previous roles as a researcher for Seedstars' former Continuous Improvement Lead, my academic training, and the participation in workshops as the one on Con ict analysis powered by YATA and NATO, I have gained experience in con ict analysis, political system analysis, MENA political and social systems analysis, and human rights and learned to work both independently and as part of a team. I relate well to people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, have lived in Egypt for some time to improve my written and spoken Arabic, and speak uent Italian and English, intermediate French, and Spanish. I am comfortable working with minimal resources and respecting strict deadlines, paying attention to details while retaining the ability to oversee complex programs. I worked as a project manager for the Italian University Network for Development Cooperation managing a team of 40 people and have co-founded and run two cultural organizations - GWO, a women’s empowerment program, and Insomnia Concerti, an organization supporting music festivals in Italy. At this point in my career, I am keen to join a dynamic organization working for sustainable development and peace-building. My goal is to be part of the change toward a more just system that takes care of, and provides, for its human and environmental resources.
