Miriam is a senior trainer, coach, consultant and OD professional with 25 years of experience in the the Netherlands, South and South East Asia, and West-Africa. As a consultant, she has supported client organizations on issues related to organisational development and strengthening, strategic planning, employee satisfaction, performance and competency management, learning organisations and change processes. As a certified coach, she has been supporting individuals and teams on career questions, leadership development, work-life questions, communication issues and conflict resolution. She is an experienced skill trainer on topics such as Result-Based Management, Leadership, People Management, HR Management, Training of Trainers, Facilitation Skills and Personal Effectiveness. 

From 2020 until mid 2025, Miriam was the Director of the MDF Asia Myanmar office. In July 2025 she relocated to Bénin in West-Africa where she currently works as a Senior Consultant at MDF Bénin on assignments related to Organisational, Strategy and Leadership Development.
