I am highly motivated and committed multi knowledge, multi-skilled and multi experienced individual in training and lecturing both business and health care management at under and postgraduate levels in both Africa and UK universities. I have been trained in public health, clinical medicine and health education through four year clinical officer training in Malawi and carried out five year PhD research in Developing, delivering and Evaluating Young People’s HIV, Sexual Health Behaviour Change education Intervention of which fieldwork was conducted in Malawi, Tanzania and Uganda through Keele University of the UK. I have also worked for Ministry of Health and University of Malawi as senior clinical officer for seven years in Malawi (1986-1993) and as Training and Consultant Lead for Naz Project London in the UK for eight years (2003-2011). I have worked as a Senior Associate lecturer teaching both business and health related modules at under and postgraduate levels for Glyndwr University for 3 years (2011-2015).

I have expertise in sexual health, HIV and AIDS treatment and prevention as well as knowledge of sexual health and HIV issues among adults and young people in sub-Saharan Africa acquired through my clinical work, delivering PSHE in schools and colleges in the UK and PhD research in Malawi, Tanzania and Uganda and lecturing and supervision of BSc (Hons) healthcare studies, MBA healthcare management and Masters of Public Health (MPH) students’ dissertations and projects in the UK universities.

I have experience of writing funding proposals, organizing fund raising events and making presentations to potential funders and developing networking relationships with funders from both government and non government institutions acquired through my eight years work with Naz Project London as a training and consultant lead.
