PERSONNAL STATEMENT   

Maurice HABIYAMBERE has a rich career with over 20 years in project management and has a strong working experience in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) for over 10 years. He is familiar to work with governmental projects as well as co-financed projects (Government and different external donors) He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA in Project Management) from Mount Kenya University and has a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography from the University of Rwanda. He has also a background in agriculture technics. Maurice has solid and relevant experience in bilateral project design, planning, implementation, supervision, evaluation, and closure. This was the case for the PRICE Project/NAEB, GIS Project/OCIR CAFÉ/SPREAD/STABEX, PGERB/ Ruhengeri, and PDRCIU Project/Umutara, ). He has played a key role in coordinating two National Coffee Census (2009 and 2015). Apart from the usual office software and tools (MS Office), he is able to use GIS in different fields such as project monitoring & evaluation,  in the agriculture sector, especially in coffee, tea, horticulture, and sericulture (data collection, database creation, and management, data analysis and interpretation, and mapping). He is ultimately familiar with different GIS, databases, and statistical software (ArcGIS, SPSS, etc.). Maurice is recognized as a hard-working worker, self-motivated, professional, and committed employee who feels most comfortable in a role whereby pressure is very much part of everyday working life. He accomplishes duties with the necessary skills, qualities, and attributes to not only carry out each of the duties to a high standard but to also help the organization move forward positively and innovatively through hard work and determination.
