I have gained immense experience in managing technical projects within the telecommunications industry. With my background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, I am equipped with exceptional diagnostic methods, and I am able to solve complex challenges in technology. I have the ability to operate and deliver in a multicultural environment. I am looking to use my experience in the humanitarian sector, regardless of the location. Below is a list of my key achievements.
•Supported partners to win a number of projects by giving deep technical product presentations, configurations and quotations, and by delivering successful Proofs of Concept (POCs).
•As part of marketing support, I trained partners in Kenya, Tanzania, Ethiopia and Rwanda on various enterprise solutions and products (Data Centre Facilities, IP Networks, Storage, Intelligent Collaboration, etc.).
•Designed and supervised the installation of fibre networks for the mobile operator Vodacom in Durban, Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa.
• Supported partner with the installation, configuration, commissioning and personnel training of the video conferencing system for Communications Authority of Kenya (C.A.K) across multiple cities in the country.
• Managed the installation of over two hundred kilometres of Kenya’s Ministry of Information, Communication and Technology (MOICT) fibre networks, in multiple counties in Kenya, as part of the project ‘National Optic Fibre backbone (NOFBI).
• Oversaw the installation of ‘Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN)’ in several sub-county headquarters in Kenya.
• Supervised the roll-out of the mobile operator Safaricom’s ‘Fibre to the Home (FTTH)’ project in various estates in Nairobi, Kenya.
• Managed the 2G/3G/4G swap of over one hundred sites under the mobile operator Telkom’s ‘Radio Access Network (RAN) Modernization’ Project in Nairobi and its environs.
• Supervised the transmission and power installations for Safaricom’s CCTV (Safe City) Network in Kasarani Stadium (in preparation for the 2017 IAAF World Under 18 Championships), and in various police stations within Nairobi – Kenya.
• Managed the installation and integration of fibre networks in sixty commercial buildings for Safaricom’s ‘Fibre to the Building (FTTB)’ project in Nairobi, Kenya and its environs.
• Supervised the installation of fifty kilometres of underground fibre network for Safaricom’s Metro project in Nairobi, Kenya and its environs.
