About

Dr Idris Olabode Badiru is a trainer and development practitioner. He is a Faculty member in the Development Communication Unit of the Department of Agricultural Extension and Rural Development, University of Ibadan.

He has 20 years’ cognate experience in planning, management, monitoring and evaluation of development projects in Nigeria and has consulted for organisations like IITA, NITDA and World Bank Assisted projects such as Fadama, CSDP, WAAPP and APPEALS.

He was a guest researcher at the Nordic Africa Institute, Uppsala, Sweden, a fellow of AgriFoSe 2030 programme and currently, a Senior Fellow in the Non-Residential Fellowship Programme of Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG).

 Dr Badiru has over 50 publications in reputable local and international journals. He currently serves the National Executive Committee of Rural Sociological Association of Nigeria (RuSAN) as the General Secretary. He is happily married and blessed with children.
