Jaleto Jara is an international trade expert with proven experience in the financial sector supporting private business financing/development. He is a graduate of Masters degree in International Trade Policy and Trade Law from Lund University. He has been working in the banking and financial sector consulting investors and SMEs on the overall business environment in Ethiopia as well as participating in the formulation of policies and procedures of the Bank derived from the Directives of the National Bank of Ethiopia. He has been working in the Development Bank of Ethiopia for more than 10 years. In addition, he studied Master of Business Administration and graduated in 2018. Recently, he delivered an consultancy service as an individual consultant and external collaborator for International Labor organization (ILO) funded by FCDO to ensure the financial inclusion procided by the Financial Service Provider. The task covers market assessment, Institutional Assessment of the FSP, product launch, Pilot testing, Monitoring and reporting. In addition, he delivered the study on the Ethiopian regulatory barriers to Trade and AfCFTA with Tradesmart Consult for assignment given by Center for International Private Enterprise (CIPE).
