My professional life has been focused on the protection of human rights and basic human dignity of marginalized minorities in the Eastern European region. The two main components of this work have been { In-country project work, such as human rights capacity building, climate change education and adaptation as well as sustainable development and poverty reduction in relation to remote indigenous communities in Russia { International advocacy work defending the human rights of marginalized indigenous peoples in Russia by methods such as reporting to UN treaty monitoring bodies and other human rights mechanisms.

Currently I work in Ukraine with a humanitarian organisation that supports traumatized children.
