Upendo Alfred is working as a social Consultant; being responsible for social economic survey, monitoring and ensuring quality implementation of data collection. 

She holds a bachelor of Arts in Sociology degree from Dodoma University - Tanzania.

she is working as social economic survey Team Lead; At Epanko Graphite Project- playing an integral role in coordinate, monitor and report all social economic survey, collecting village data information including family, forests, school, hospital and lifestyle in the village for livelihood restoration program.

she also worked as Project Affected Persons Support Officer; East Africa Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP)– Tanzania in Kagera, Muleba District, where she was engaging with community leaders for mobilizing Project Affected Persons, collecting missing information and update the data base, financial literacy household money budgeting training for Project Affected Persons.The East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) is a major infrastructure project that is designed to transport crude oil from Uganda's oil fields to the Tanzanian port of Tanga on the Indian Ocean. It is a joint venture between the Ugandan and Tanzanian governments, along with international oil companies, and has received support from international financial institutions.

Prior to that, she was an Engagement fellow, Sahara Sparks Dar res salaam- Project Data Zetu where she was facilitating by providing the community education what the meaning and purpose of the project, organize and mobilize community meetings, project ambassador from the relevant ward as well as coordinate and manage workshop, social meeting and civil society organization.
