•Conducting research on waste biomass management, resource recovery and circular economy. •Supporting the implementation of IHE Delft's activities within the Bio4Africa project funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation program •Overseeing the construction, installation and initial operation of hydrothermal carbonization pilot units in Senegal and Uganda. •Coordination and implementation of capacity building activities and tailor-made training on waste management and valorization. •Delivering lectures on various solid waste management topics covering recycling technologies and governance aspects in the online course offered by IHE Delft. Page 2 of 6 •Delivering postgraduate lectures on topics related to sewage sludge treatment, including anaerobic digestion and hydrothermal processes and their coupling. •Developing proposals for research projects and tailor-made training on aspects of waste management.
