Joachim Mnyawami is a statistician, He has being involved for more than 9 years in Conducting Research and Project Management. He reinforces the team with competencies in statistician with a focus on program and project management with a context of development research. As a Deputy Team Leader/ Project coordinator PMO-MIVARF- Mar 2016-Feb 2018, Joachim facilitated and empowered participants in the rice value chain (Producer, aggregators, and processors) to capture markets in Kenya and Uganda, promoting rice selling instead of paddy. Joachim has unique capabilities in Research technique to all levels such as literature review, questionnaire design, field data collections, data management & data analysis (both qualitative and quantitative), and proving the logical irrelevancy of the data through outputs. Joachim has been well skilled and highly experienced Project Monitoring Evaluation Learning and Reporting (MELR); Results-based management; MELR capacity building, Project Management (including Early Childhood/Early Learning Projects) and Business Processes Improvement; Baseline and Market Surveys - Research design, sampling techniques, training field enumerators, survey management, focus groups (FGDs), in-depth interviews, statistical analysis and interpretation; Strategic Planning, Resource Allocation and Financial Management; Developing/reviewing various business tools/ operations instruments for instance; Business Plans (BPs), and Operations Manuals (OMs)/Operations Procedures (OP)/ or and governance documents; Preparing and reviewing Projects Annual Work Plan and Budgets (AWP&Bs); Preparing and reviewing other project documents including; Documentation of lesson learnt and success stories; Proficient in using Kobo Toolbox, Survey CTO electronic data collection tools/application; Good grasp of application of quantitative and qualitative data statistical data analysis tools specifically Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) and Nvivo. Conversant with different data visualisation tools like; Power BI, Edrawmax, and iphographia.
