My name is PHY Kosorl, a fresh graduate with Master’ degree in Water and Environmental Engineering at Institute of Technology of Cambodia (ITC). I am writing this letter to express my goal for applying to be an Engineer. During the time at ITC, I have the necessary academic background to be a competent contributor to the research team. Furthermore, assisting with research in the field of environment directly complements my career as plan to pursue in the future. Currently, I am a professor part-time at Build Bright University. I am teaching Fluid Mechanics and Water Supply. After graduating, I have to complete a project contractor for a villa at Boeung Salang with my teammates. Villa has size nine-meter multiply fifteen meters for this project do not have a column centerline. Looking at the experience during my study, I had joined as a research student with my lecturer that related to flooding in Phnom Penh, Wastewater quality. During the time of the study, I have applied to the EPANET program to complete the final verify pipeline design for the project study course Water supply. For internship, I had also joined a local company, which discussed “Verify drainage system” and “Cold Water system of building”. During the duration of my internship, I was using the programs AutoCAD, Microsoft Word-Excel, ArcGIS and PCSWMM. Next experience was a design competition at the United States embassy Phnom Penh of the project “SMACH MEANCHEY Primary School”. For the rest of my experiences, I had to Thesis research for my master’s degree with the topic “The application of PCSWMM to assess the potential impact of urbanization on storm water flood at Dangkor district, Phnom Penh, Cambodia”.
