Deputy Operations Coordinator

Under the guidance of Operations Coordinator, I Supervised the delivery of livelihoods programme, where more than 200 volunteers successfully executed sustainability projects based in rural Tanzania

Responsible for the planning, designing and conduct trainings to in country and internationals Team leaders in health and safety, leadership, crisis management, program specific training (Livelihoods), youth leadership and development, health and safety, behavioral change
Investigated any breaches of code of conduct and regulations on health, safety and behavioural policies and took disciplinary actions where necessary
Ensured the volunteers deliver exceptional services and build strong, cross-cultural relationships that reinforced the values of the Organisation
Conducted regular feedback and appraisal meetings
Monitored and evaluated the project activities and progress, mediated conflicts and assessed group dynamics,
Maintained relationships with project partners and stake holders
Tracked all team reports and finances and Managed project master data base
Advocated gender equality and equity in the rural community by awareness rising
Liaised with other departments to ensure smooth execution of the projects
Prepared and managed budget for up to 20 million shillings for the seed funding for bussinesses of the successfully Project Participants (young entrepreneurs) who participated in the trainings
