I'm a trilingual International Development Professional with a legal background and 04+ years of experience in nongovernmental organisations. During my time at Childfund, NLEAP and my present experience at the Asia Foundation I have been given the opportunity to work on child rights, gender equality, women empowerment, language rights, Commercial Mediation and to learn on community development projects in and out of Colombo. Further, I was also fortunate enough to contribute to child rights and Gender Equality workshops which were enhanced by my interpersonal and public speaking skills which were developed during my undergraduate period through moots and adjudication procedures. I have also volunteered in multiple charitable projects during the schooling years. Through the years, I have learnt that I am a person of integrity who will stand up against injustice while working and contributing to the best of my abilities as a team. As such, I am a passionate and dedicated person willing to work hard for the improvement of the community especially in the aforementioned areas.
