About
- As part of the Migration and Sustainable Development Unit, coordinating 5 diaspora engagement initiatives for transnational development and 1 for mainstreaming migration in local development;
- Designing and launching calls for project proposals contributing to priority SDGs and targeting diaspora communities, including youth diaspora leaders. Evaluating and selecting the best project proposals for funding;
- Managing sub-grant contracts for diaspora representatives;
- Developing and delivering capacity-building initiatives for diaspora representatives;
- Providing technical assistance on project development and implementation to diasporas;
- Collecting and analyzing data related to project implementation, in coordination with the MEARL and Innovation Project Focal Point;
- Undertaking monitoring missions to project sites;
- Supporting project development. Currently working on a proposal on diaspora engagement for climate action and food security;
- Monitoring and ensuring timely implementation, administrative compliance, and budget management for diaspora-led projects;
