Managed the FCDO cross border refugee repatriation project by providing leadership within the programme team, including providing overall direction throughout the programme cycle. Successfully managed repatriation and integration of 46,000 refugees and 50,000 returnees accross East Africa. Monitored the delivery of the project components including community cohesion and integration, sensitization agaisnt gender based violence,hearing and counseling services (trauma and stigma), organization referral and placement, financial literacy and sustainability. Established vulnerability criteria and needs assessment, working closely with refugee representatives and humanitarian advisors and was responsible for driving, on a day to day basis, the delivery of programme outputs and achievements of outcomes, whilst ensuring compliance with PrOF rules. Acted as a bridge between the FCDO and the host communities and refugee camps, fostering positive relationships, and maintaining a strong presence within the refugee communities Engaged with government partners and other stakeholders to ensure changing local contexts drive delivery decisions Gathered information from programme advisors and Senior responsible officers (SROs) to fulfill system reporting and commissions from the UK government Monitored & engaged with delivery partners on the field including UNAgencies, and International Red Cross on regular programme forecast, reporting and field implementation in refugee camps andhost communities
