Corrections Officer

• Developing and implementing human rights-conscious Joint Justice and Corrections Programs.
• Participating in the development and implementation of stable and capable justice and corrections institutions.
• Reviewing and overseeing the development of the Human Rights Due Diligence Policy.
• Advising, coaching, and mentoring national counterparts in line with applicable international human rights standards.
• Assisting in the review, development, and/or implementation of restorative justice and reconciliation initiatives, strategic planning processes, policies, and legislation.
• Coordinating rule of law initiatives with AFPs and other international partners.
• Promoting and implementing the UN Common Position on Incarceration Policy.
• Serving as Gender Focal Point, ensuring the implementation of WPS gender parity and equality in JJCS programmatic activities.
• Stabilizing newly recovered areas with a focus on justice and security.
• Supervising and mentoring NPOs and GPPs.
