About

I am a consummate professional and storyteller who has for over 15 years been deeply immersed in audio-visual content development for international nonprofit and development impact causes in Eastern and Southern Africa.  My work telling development and humanitarian stories in Eastern and Southern Africa has been globally published, most notable being my coverage of the impact of Cyclone Idai in Mozambique that was published by CNN, BBC, The New York Times, Aljazeera, Sky News, The Guardian and a host of other media outlets. I also recently had my photography work published by National Geographic.

I started out in brand and marketing communications, working in advertising before branching off into film production and photography. My experience spans television, documentary, and film production in varied roles ranging from fixing and field producing to impact producing and directing.

My recent short film, 72 Hours, shot in Northern Mozambique tells the story of a logistical innovation being piloted in the face of a resurgence of the wild poliovirus in Africa. The film is part of the Skoll Foundation/Video Consortium's Solutions Storytelling Project 2023.

And Kampala is a place I call home
