Over 28 years of postgraduate experience, six of which was spent in Dakar, Senegal, managing procurement plans and projects within multicultural and multilingual environments. Successfully led an 18-month procurement plan over six years for the OMVG Energy Project in Senegal, navigating French-language documentation despite being an Anglophone expert. Currently managing procurement for a $200 million portfolio of seven World Bank, Islamic Development Bank, UNDP, BADEA, and African Development Bank-funded projects at the Central Project Coordination Unit in The Gambia.

Skilled in procurement planning, strategy development, and implementation with a focus on fairness, transparency, and value for money. Proficient in multiple procurement systems and frameworks, including World Bank, UN, EU, and AfDB regulations, and platforms such as the World Bank’s STEP.
