I hold an MSc. in Advanced Professional Studies option Environmental Education from Strathclyde University (UK) with a distinction Diploma in Wildlife Conservation and Management (Egerton University College (Njoro).
I have over 20 year’s practical experience in Natural Resource Management, Community Mobilization, Environmental Education, Project Management and Resource Mobilization. I have skills in Wetland management planning, Trainer of Trainers and Tourism Management Courses. In these areas, I have trained while at the Kenya Wildlife Service Training Institute, various community forums in outside Kenya and as consultant. I have also trained part time at the University of Nairobi- Kabete Campus in Environmental Management modules.
I have also actively participated in Climate Change Adaptations Strategies and Payment for Environmental Services (PES) Scheme; community initiatives while as a Community Mobilization Project Officer with WWF.
My project survey (2005) on Education for Sustainable Development focused on Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) with special reference to MDG 1 & 2. Vision 2030 has also been considered in my programs.
