I am an independent consultant based in Shannon, IRELAND with over 35 years of experience in local and national economic development across a variety of sectors, much gained while working with Shannon Development Ltd. In the past I have worked in all parts of Central and Eastern Europe with assignments also completed in Russia, Turkey, Croatia, the Balkans, Jordan and Myanmar in SE Asia. More recently I have worked in Africa in Nigeria (three years in Free Zone management), Ghana, Mauritius and Botswana. In addition  I have completed projects in East Africa across six countries on Trade and Investment development, a new greenfield special economic zone project by the Caspian Sea in Azerbaijan, regional foreign investment in Uzbekistan and advising on strategic private sector development in Libya.
